Position:  English Teacher Needed for a Family In Jordan (Amman)

Au Pair Jordan is looking for a qualified English Teacher to join a Family in Jordan, The family is a high profile family living in Amman, the capital of Jordan.

The English teacher will be living with the Family at their residence in a high profile area in Amman.

A family located in Amman, Jordan is seeking a full-time live-in/Live out English Teacher to provide quality childcare and educational support for their children on a long-term basis.

 

Duties include:

• Teaching the children, the English Language in addition to helping with homework and studies.
• Assisting them with homework and other school activities
• Organizing everything in relation to children’s school and social life
• Diary management
• Procurement of everything that may be required for school
• Ensuring that the personal and academic needs of the children are met on a daily basis
• Help learn the English language
• Organize fun and creative exercises to engage the children’s learning
• Arrange activities related to arts, music and physical development
• Creating a trusting, love and happy environment for the children
• Organizing playdates
• Ensuring that children complete their homework.
• Plan a routine that allows for fun and education activities.
• Teach children specialized subjects, such as a new language, history, or musical instruments.
• Ensure that the kids have proper manners and etiquette.

 

Qualifications:

Hold a teacher qualification in primary or secondary, and/or may be a ESL teacher

The family travels occasionally and they would like the governess to accompany them. the travel costs are covered by the family.

The governess would need to have excellent English Language Skills, and fluency in any other language is a bonus, such as French, German, Spanish Languages.

• Salary USD 1500 per Month (negotiable depending on experience)

• Working Days: Sunday – Thursday
• Working Hours 07:00 – 19:00
